The array of data bases at the Southern Station includes forest surveys, genetics studies, watershed experiments, silviculture studies, and many other subjects. The purpose of this publication is to inform the public of the successful long-term research , accomplished and ongoing, at the Southern Forest Experiment Station and to encourage scientists from other institutions to utilize the data that have resulted from this research.
